Members of the Women’s Meeting meet once a fortnight from September to July and is open to any lady in the villages of Histon & Impington whether they attend a church or not.  The meetings are normally held at Histon Baptist Church on Wednesdays at 2.30 p.m..  Details are always given on the weekly newsletter of the Church and a programme is available from the meeting co-ordinator.

 

The programme for each meeting includes a guest speaker, a members’ afternoon or a bring-and-buy occasion.  Three times a year we meet with other Baptist Churches for a Summer Conference, Fellowship Day and an Advent Service.  At other times of the year each church in Histon hosts a United Service.

 

Over the years we have raised money for many causes.  Our current support is for “Vision Africa” the purpose of which is to give children of Nairobi (Kenya) a future.

 

You will find friendship and fellowship at our meetings and you will be welcomed to hear about the Lord’s Word and works.
